Clean laundry Genuine Conversations Under our collaborative partnership model, Orange Sky always operates alongside other service providers, including food vans or community centres, to provide support to those doing it tough. We know that by working together as a community we can make the greatest impact. We aim to create a safe and supportive environment at every shift. Anyone in need of support is welcome to join us and access our free laundry and shower facilities, or simply find a space for community connection. Key things to know about Adelaide Launched in 2016 Providing free laundry and conversation Operated by a team of dedicated volunteers Facilitating over 3,224 hours of conversation each year Mobile Vans We are best known for our laundry vans that pull up in parks and alongside partner organisations all across the country. Our vans are solar-powered and fitted with our innovative Waru Dryers, which reduce our environmental impact. Our mobile van in Adelaide is named ‘ Splasher ’. Melbourne St Laundromat by Orange Sky Orange Sky has proudly opened the doors to an exciting new venture – our first ever Social Impact Laundromat! You can’t miss the bright orange shop front located in North Adelaide, at 80 Melbourne St. Learn more about the Laundromat here . The laundromat is a paid service that fundraises for Orange Sky’s operations – supporting our friends doing it tough. Purchasing a wash at Melbourne St means that your funds are going towards our free washing and genuine conversations at our shifts.
