It’s with this collaborative approach that we can strengthen our combined impact and provide a wrap-around experience for people who use our services. Initially we have had the van come twice a week, but with the pods on site the services have increased to three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Depending on your location, there may be only select service types available. Laundry vans Equipped with two washing machines and two Waru Dryers, our laundry vans are solar powered and have clean and waste water tanks onboard. Site Requirements* • 1 x clean water tap • 1 x waste water drain (not stormwater) • 1 x 10amp electricity source • Minimum space of two regular car parks Hybrid vans Equipped with two washing machines, two dryers and a warm shower, our hybrid vans are solar powered and have clean and waste water tanks onboard. Site Requirements* • 1 x clean water tap • 1 x waste water drain (not stormwater) • 1 x 10amp electricity source • Minimum space of two regular car parks Laundry pods Our laundry pods are fixed, standalone structures that remain at a location for an extended period of time. They are equipped with two washing machines, two dryers and of course - six orange chairs. Site Requirements* • 1 x clean water tap • 1 x waste water drain (not stormwater) • 1 x 10amp electricity source • Minimum space of two regular car parks • Flat & solid surface Laundromats Whether in Orange Sky owned or partnered laundromats, we provide free laundry services and a chance to connect for people doing it tough. Indoor Laundries By placing washing machines and dryers within a service partner organisation, or utilizing existing infrastructure, we create a space for people in need to access laundry facilities and genuine conversations. Laundry Pod 1.0 Fitted with three washing machines, three dryers, and six orange chairs, our 3x3 laundry pod is the first of it's kind.
