Agnes Watton - Riding Out the Storm Alone ===
[00:00:00]
Because like she's the only one on the island that's got an elevator. Oh, really? Yeah. Not because of her health. Yep. Condition. Um, couldn't get her out of the house when, um, the ambulance guys came there. Oh. Tears were slippery. They got a special chair, chair to like get it, but the elevator would put there for that paper.
Yeah. To get it up and down the stairs. Mm-hmm. And that wasn't working because it worked on electricity. Mm-hmm. But we got through it. I mean, one of the windows rub was missing from it. And what bad mop? I never mopped like that in my life. Water was leaking in the house. I had furniture underneath the house.
They all got mold on it. Bedroom suite and that had moved from mm one address and never got the chance to like get it upstairs in the house. Mm-hmm. [00:01:00] So my $5,000 bedroom suite and mold was,
that's wild. Mm-hmm. And how'd it go? Did you get to clean it? Oh well, thank water's worth that much. Um, just wipe it down. That old rustic can cut that. Tin Hornet wiping it down, so. Mm. But the other furniture is still underneath the house. 'cause I've got nothing help and get 'em upstairs. Right. So it's sitting down there, but slowly get some young fellas come help you home.
Mm. My kids was only one of them, but just moving things around. 'cause I've got my own health pieces too. But I'm slowly trying to clean the upstairs because there's a lot of shit upstairs. Yeah. And there's one hand room mm-hmm. Um, that I can put like the house [00:02:00] that they built in, that that house was built in the eighties.
Mm. There's no linen habit where you can put, there's a laundry underneath the house, but it's ridiculous where it is underneath. There's, they've got a cupboard there, but that's bug me the linens. Mm-hmm. When there should be one builtin linen cupboard up there way to build the house, you know? Mm-hmm. And, um, I think they should have a laundry upstairs and the under bed should be just closed off or whatever.
The way they, the house is ridiculous and water was dripping. I didn't know from the toilet. Down on the tower underneath to turn the light on to go underneath tower, and I only reasonably found that out and I got shocked. The RA man had to come because water got in the you the manhole, with the towel spray, and had to fix that up.
Wow. [00:03:00] So slowly the power was tripping. 'cause of the water that was dripping on the power there. Mm-hmm. Like just put the phone fixed because the water went into the thing with the ra. Mm-hmm. Was night. That was only two weeks ago. All that happened and had to get the plumber and they had that. But they still have to come and do the window where I sleep because water drips in on the floor.
Yeah. Dunno when it's not gonna get fixed. Mm. And what was your name? Sorry? Agnes. Agnes. What's your last name? Watton. Watton. Cool.
Um, I've been taking some photos of people. Do you want photo? You ready? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Make a photo of me there. Yeah. Where do you want it? That's my [00:04:00] halfway. Oh, awesome. Can we do it so that you can, we can see it in the background.
That's awesome. I didn't know that.
Yeah, no. When did you do that? No, I didn't do that. Oh, the people that had the contracts of the building? Yep. They. Got an artwork off me and the background is mine. Ah, awesome. I've got two is two other ladies. Yeah, right. But mine's is in the background, the color. Oh, cool. This is perfect then I reckon right there.
Yeah. Well, it was about just riding it out. Yeah, of course. All right. This is perfect.[00:05:00]
Look, I meet him. Awesome. So Ra oh oh. Hit me. Thanks for the yarn.
